This is one of those books you want to take to the beach, sit under your large umbrella and enjoy a good read. Harmel seemed to have captured the sights and sounds of Italy. But the main theme of the story is of Cat finding herself and learning more about her mother. Making peace with her past and her self- discovery you will see a touch of romance. The last time Cat had been in Rome was thirteen years earlier as an exchange student and now she is re-discovering the sights sounds and smells of Italy while all along dodging the hot blooded Italian Gigolo’s. Can she get up the courage to spend the rest of the month in Rome or turn tail and hard back to her dull life in Manhattan? She doesn’t know any of them and she hasn’t spoken to any of them since her mother’s death two years earlier.
